Background

The RE/MAX Lake of the Ozarks Charitable Foundation was created by the staff and associates at RE/MAX Lake of the Ozarks to provide a way for philanthropic gifts to be made to charities and individuals in the greater Lake of the Ozarks region.

DREAM FACTORY

The Dream Factory is a national, volunteer-based non-profit organization, dedicated to granting dreams to children (ages 3 through 18) whose lives are threatened by a critical or chronic illness. It is the second largest children's wish-granting organization in the United States with 36 chapters. We have been awarded a Four Star rating from Charity Navigator, the highest rating possible. The Headquarters organization has only four staff members. The chapters have no paid staff.

Nathan McGill, age 4, has Muscular Dystrophy. His dream was to meet Mickey Mouse.
Nora Brown, age 11, has Lennox-Gastaut Syndrome (a severe form of epilepsy). Her dream was for a safe play area where she would not be injured if she fell. We had a deck built for her out of non-splintering materials.
Anrea Almendarez, age 11, has cerebral palsy. His dream was to visit DisneyWorld.
Leonard Almendarez, age 11, has has cerebral palsy. His dream was to go to the beach.
Augusta (Gus) Manselle, age 4, who has Down Syndrome. Her dream was a play set for her backyard. Makenna McGuire (middle), age 6, dream was to meet the Disney princesses.

 

2015 Dreams Granted using funds raised at the Clown Classic

Dream #363 - Brandon Stewart, age 11, has Spina Bifida, with John Cena, teh famous WWE wrestler. His dream was to attend a WWE event and meet a wrestler.
Dream #362 - Logan Hale, age 15, has severe hemophilia. His dream was a shopping spree for electronic items.
Dream #361 - Zachary Azar , age 10, has Crohn's Disease. His dream was to visit Legoland and DisneyWorld. Here he is picking legos from the many sizes available.
